Booking and Reservations
Booking Process: To book a service, you must provide accurate and complete information via our website or customer service team. All bookings are subject to availability.
Confirmation: Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email with the details of your reservation. Please review this information carefully and notify us of any discrepancies.
Payment: Payment for services is required at the time of booking or as otherwise agreed upon. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods specified on our website.
Changes and Cancellations: Clients may modify or cancel their reservations subject to our cancellation policy. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
Service Conditions
Chauffeur Conduct: Our chauffeurs are professionals who adhere to high standards of service. They are expected to be courteous, punctual, and maintain confidentiality.
Client Responsibilities: Clients are responsible for maintaining appropriate behavior during the service. Chauffeurs reserves the right to terminate service if the client or passengers engage in illegal or inappropriate behavior.
Vehicle Use: Our vehicles are intended for transportation only. Any damage caused to the vehicle by the client or passengers will be the client’s responsibility.
Pricing and Additional Charges
Pricing: Our service prices are outlined on our website or provided during booking. Prices are subject to change without notice but will not affect confirmed bookings.
Additional Charges: Additional charges may apply for services such as waiting time, extra stops, tolls, parking fees, or special requests. These charges will be communicated to you & added to your final bill. We are dedicated to providing punctual and reliable transportation services to our customers. Our waiting policy ensures that customers have a grace period of up to one hour for waiting time without incurring additional charges. This policy is only applicable to airport pick-up customers. Customers are encouraged to review and understand these policies before booking our services.
Waiting Policy:
1. Waiting Time Grace Period:
a. Customers are entitled to a waiting time grace period of up to one hour from the scheduled pickup time.
b. The waiting time grace period begins at the scheduled pickup time indicated on the booking confirmation.
2. Charges for Exceeding Waiting Time:
a. If the waiting time exceeds one hour beyond the scheduled pickup time, additional charges may apply.
b. Charges for exceeding waiting time will be calculated based on the applicable hourly rate based on the vehicle. You will be charged in 15-minutes blocks.
3. Notification of Delay:
a. If customers anticipate a delay that may exceed the waiting time grace period, they are encouraged to notify us as soon as possible.
b. Notification of delay allows us to make necessary adjustments to scheduling and minimize inconvenience for all parties involved.
Cancellation Policy:
1. Free Cancellation Cutoff Period:
a. Customers are entitled to cancel their trip for free up to 48 hours before the pick up time.
2. Cancellation charges schedule:
a. Customers are charged 40% for the cancellations up to 24 hours before the pick up time.
b. Customers are charged 75% for the cancellations up to 3 hours before the pick up time.
c. Customers are charged 100% for the cancellations within 3 hours of the pick up time or in case customers are no-show.
3. Notification of Cancellation:
a. Notification of cancellation may be provided via phone, email, or any other designated communication channel.
b. Please note that round trips are considered as a single trip and schedule of charges apply to the whole fare.
4. Communication of Cancellation:
a. If a trip needs to be cancelled by us due to the customer's non-compliance or other reasons outlined in this policy, customers will be notified promptly.
b. Notification of cancellation may be provided via phone, email, or any other designated communication channel.
Refund Policy:
1. Refunds for cancellations
a. Customers can either receive a refund to their original payment method as per cancellation schedule or they might qualify to receive credits worth the value of their trip to be used any time in future without expiration.
2. Refund Schedule:
a. All refunds are processed within 7 business days of request.
Compliance
1. Compliance with this Waiting Policy, Cancellation Policy, and Refund Policy is mandatory for all customers using our transportation services.
2. By booking our services, customers acknowledge their acceptance of these policies and agree to abide by their terms and conditions.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which States Car Service Inc operates. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that state.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
States Car Service Inc reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
